Karen  Wagner is a partner at the Dash Law Firm and has been a member of the team since 2016. Her daily responsibilities include trial conduct, drafting and appearing on motions seeking a wide variety of relief from consolidation of cases, as well as discovery and summary judgments.

Karen is extremely knowledgeable and therefore able to argue multiple arbitrations on a daily basis. Her skill set also enables her to  draft master arbitrations and Article 75 papers.

Karen oversees the litigation and arbitration teams at The Dash Law Firm, including attorneys, paralegals and all support staff.

From 2005 through 2008, Karen was an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, overseeing a wide array of cases from Misdemeanors, Warrant Rotation/Early Case Assessment, and Vehicular Crimes Bureau, as well as managing well over 100 felony cases from inception through trial/plea and sentence. Later in her career, Karen was Staff Counsel to several Insurance Companies and responsible for overseeing the Fraud Department for one  Major Insurance company. Karen conducted Examinations Under Oath and Depositions of medical providers/doctors on a variety of issues for Major Insurance Companies. This prepared Karen to represent major Hospitals, Diagnostic Centers, Physician Offices and other Medical Providers.

 

 When not advocating on behalf of her clients, Karen can be found traveling, enjoying the sun at the beach, and hiking the trails of Long Island. Karen is highly involved her children’s School Parents Association, she is an assistant coach to her daughters PAL lacrosse team, an assistant Troop leader for the Girl Scouts of America, and lastly but most importantly, she enjoys watching her three children play in their Travel Lacrosse Leagues.
